Thing 1

Thanks to Arlene and all of my fellow friends for helping get me started on this journey!  I appreciated the step by step process that she took us through.  We ran into difficulties with getting started because we had to have a verification code through a text or phone call.  Thanks again to Arlene for having her cell phone ready!  This is all brand new to me.  I'm still not sure exactly what I am getting myself into, but it will definitely be a learning experience!

It was soooo much fun looking at all of the options for an avatar!  So many options...you could spend hours looking at everything, choosing voices and backgrounds, etc.!  I could easily have looked at the options all afternoon, but I found the cutest little moose that reminds me of my time in Norway and in Canada!  Wish I was in one of those 2 locations instead of in hot, humid, Houston!  Anyway, I'll be playing with this over the next couple days to see what the other options out there are.  Learning IS fun isn't it!?!?!?!

  2. Yes, you're so right! Today, it seems as though access to technology is assumed! I'm so glad that Arlene had her cell phone! Love your moose and I look forward to learning from you over this summer!

  4. I started at Terrace 22 years ago when we were the Terrace Thunderbolts. We even had cheer leaders back in the day. What they cheered for, heaven only knows!

  5. I, like Navaz, truly appreciated your blog name. I remember that we were Thunderbolts when I taught your baby brother. So many things have changed since then, including the fact you have graduated from middle school, high school, college, and now are my colleague. Does that really make me as old as I think???

  6. I have just started my 11 Tools training and love your Voki, so I'm thinking I will go in and jazz mine up. I did mine quickly inbetween trainings at the admin. building. I can't wait to see all this new tech learning being implemented with our students.
